报告摘要：The presenter has been studied the roles of nutrients in the development of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes for the past 26 years. Recently, he has observed a phenomenon that can be summarized as the hepatic insulin resistance at gene expression in so called insulin-sensitive animals. This talk is to discuss the current understanding of this phenomenon.
陈国勋 博士 美国田纳西大学教育与人文科学学院教授、博士生导师，兼任北美华人营养学会选举主席，美国糖尿病协会营养科学与代谢研究兴趣小组主席；先后在武汉大学病毒及分子生物学系攻读学士、硕士，美国德州大学西南医学中心获得博士学位，并在湖北省医学科学院病毒所、美国科学院院士Roger H. Unger 博士实验室、诺贝尔获得者Michael Brown和Joseph Goldstein实验室、在美国德州大学西南医学中心从事博士后及相关科学研究工作，曾获得美国国立卫生研究院培训基金、美国心脏病协会营养，运动和代谢委员会新研究员奖等资助和荣誉，担任Open Biotechnology Journal杂志主编，Frontiers in Pharmacology-Gastrointestinal, Hepatic Pharmacology, Food Science and Human Wellness和Journal of Future Foods等杂志的副主编，以及World Journal of Gastroenterology杂志的学术编辑。
